Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of movers4you.ca and any quote request, order, or booking you make through this website with Movers4You Inc (“Movers4You”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using this site or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who We Are

Movers4You Inc is a Canadian moving company serving Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke and the Kitchener–Waterloo–Cambridge (KWC) region with residential moving, office moving, packing services, single-item moves and storage. 2. Use of This Website

You may use this site for lawful purposes only — to learn about our services, request a quote, and communicate with us. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to any related systems, scrape or copy it for a competing service, submit false or misleading information, or use it to transmit spam, malware, or unlawful content. We may suspend or refuse service to anyone who does.

3. Quotes, Estimates & the Cost Estimator

Prices, ranges, and results shown on this website — including anything produced by our cost estimator — are estimates for planning purposes only and are not an offer or a binding price. Your actual price depends on the details of your move, including inventory, access at both addresses, distance, dates, and services requested. A binding price applies only once we issue you a written quotation. Where a written quotation and these Terms differ, the written quotation governs that move.

4. Booking & Cancellation

A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing. The specific terms of your move — scheduling, crew and truck allocation, minimum hours, any deposit, and cancellation or rescheduling terms — are set out in the written quotation and moving contract we provide to you before the move. Please read that document; it, together with any applicable bill of lading, forms the agreement for the moving services themselves.

5. Your Responsibilities

To let us do the job safely and on schedule, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about your move, including addresses, access details (stairs, elevators, parking, building rules and booking windows), and an accurate inventory. You are responsible for arranging building access and elevator reservations where required, and for telling us in advance about items that need special handling. We do not transport hazardous, perishable, illegal, or otherwise restricted items; the categories we cannot move are listed in your written quotation. Changes discovered on move day — extra items, blocked access, or added services — may affect the time and price.

6. Payment

Payment is due as set out in your written quotation or, for online orders, at checkout. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Online payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details on this website.

7. Moving Supplies Orders

Where this site lets you order moving supplies, product availability, pricing, and any pickup or delivery arrangement are confirmed by us after your order is placed. If an item is unavailable or a price is listed in error, we will contact you to arrange a substitution, a refund, or cancellation of the affected item.

8. Insurance, Loss & Damage Claims

Movers4You is fully insured. Coverage levels, valuation, and the process and deadlines for reporting loss or damage are set out in your written quotation and moving contract, and are subject to applicable Ontario law. If something goes wrong, contact us as soon as possible so we can address it — and in any event within the reporting period stated in your contract.

9. Communications & Consent

When you submit a form on this site, you consent to us contacting you by phone, email, or text message about your request, including to prepare and follow up on your quote. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us directly; we may still send you messages necessary to complete a booking you have made.

10. Privacy

Information you provide through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy laws.

11. Intellectual Property

The content on this site — text, images, logos, page designs, and the Movers4You name and marks — is owned by Movers4You Inc or used with permission, and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may view, download, and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, republication, or commercial use requires our prior written permission.

12. Reviews & Third-Party Content

This site may display customer reviews and link to third-party websites and services, including review platforms, social media, mapping, analytics, and payment providers. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

13. Website Disclaimer

We work to keep this website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it — including service areas, availability, and estimated pricing — is complete or current at all times. Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation, and nothing here limits our liability for the moving services themselves, which is governed by your moving contract and applicable law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Movers4You Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, including lost profits or data, or from reliance on an on-site estimate rather than a written quotation. This section applies to the website; liability relating to a move you have booked is governed by your moving contract and applicable Ontario law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and the updated Terms apply to your use of the site from the date they are posted. Bookings already confirmed continue to be governed by the terms in effect when they were confirmed.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
